Nick announced to the king that he would not eat anything until the king allows him to marry with Lucy. Few days later Nick became very thin and sick. So the king sighed and allow their marriage. After their marriage Nick's health got better and they lived happily ever after.
Wonderful ending! You could've gone farther by telling what they did after the marriage
